But one thing that unites all the uniquely Canadian dishes is the absolute decadence. I mean, deep-fried potatoes, topped with piles of cheese, and then smothered in thick gravy? It's basically the definition of indulgence. So, maybe not the easiest thing to make an animal-free version of.
